Astigmatism: Say Goodbye to Glasses, Hello Freedom
When diagnosed with an astigmatism, glasses are not the only option anymore. Through modern research and ingenuity, wearing glasses may become a thing of the past. I remember growing up, my sibling was always upset because she was informed that she would need to wear glasses to help with the diagnosis of having an astigmatism. She did go against the doctor's recommendation, because wearing glasses was not fashionable during the time we were teenagers. One great thing today is that my niece requires glasses for an astigmatism diagnosis, but my sister had her fitted for contact lenses to prevent the same scenario from occurring and keeping up with the trends.
